President Dan Weinert called meeting to order.

Review of minutes: After review motion to approve was made by Kay Westman.  David Meyers seconded motion.  All in favor?  All opposed.  Passed unanimous.

Treasury report: Joan Weinert could not attend meeting.  It was reported by Dan Weinert account balance should be $1,197.06. 

Coach’s Comment: Coach Williams could not attend meeting she was at a Missouri State Teacher’s Convention. 

Vice President Report: Kendall Hughes reports Mid-America Running Website list all road and trail races in KC area.  This could be a good source to find events for our runners to participate in.

Old Business: By-law issue regarding officers’ terms are discussed at a later date.  Kay Westman asked where to find a copy of by-laws.  Dan advised they could be found on website.

New Business: CC/Track Booster Clubs Merging.

Brenda Sweeney proposed to Dan Weinert the merge of Cross-Country and Track Booster Clubs.  Dan read to S.W.C.C.B.C. a letter from Coach Williams expressing her concerns about doing this.  This opened up discussion of members present of pros and cons.  After further discussion motion was made by Kendall Hughes not to merge with Track Booster Club until we reach our goals as a Cross Country Booster Club. E.I. purchasing more needed equipment, improve our own invitational meet, etc.

Kay Westman seconded motion.  No further discussion.  All in favor?  All opposed?  Passed unanimous not to merge with the Track boosters.  Dan Weinert to contact Brenda Sweeney regarding decision.
